The Leadership Circle Profile

The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) is the first comprehensive unifying theory of leadership that exists in the field. The top leadership theories have been integrated into a single model. With a well-researched battery of elements that reveal the relationship between patterns of behavior and the assumptions that drive that behavior, the LCP brings the key issues the individual leader faces to the surface instantly.

The Leadership Circle Profile measures evaluators’ aggregated input versus participants’ perception. Among other things, we examine the gaps between them and why they exist.

Playbook Coaching conducts confidential debriefs of results with every participant, so they understand what is going on, why, and the path forward to better leadership. Participants receive the full report, graph, and the Leadership Circle Profile interpretation manual so they can work on their own or with their coach.

Participants receive Playbook Coaching’s insights and recommendations to focus on their leadership development goals.

  • “…more beneficial than I could have imagined.”

  • “If the goal of the process is to become a better leader, it certainly works as a guiding light.”

  • “Eye-opening to say the least…”

  • “A great opportunity to better understand my leadership.”

  • “I was surprised to learn I could improve where I thought I was doing a good job.”

  • “Brought me great clarity to my role as a leader.”

The Leadership Circle Profile is immediately actionable. It quickly provides a new level of self–awareness that can help people become more effective leaders.

Effective vs. Ineffective Behaviors

The LCP is the only leadership model that measures the effective behaviors that lead to better leaders and ineffective behaviors that hurt leaders.

Immediate Results: Participants learn very quickly which behaviors they need to work on to be more effective leaders.

Leadership Development Plans: Plans are focused on major behavioral characteristics that result in practical change.

Statistical Validity: With a database of over 1 million evaluators and approaching 200,000 leaders evaluated, this outcome–based model is measurable and comparable to statistically effective leadership practices.

How It Works

Playbook’s turnkey process includes administration, reporting, and debriefing so that participants understand the results, including what’s going on with regard to their leadership style and why. Playbook also helps design a Leadership Development Plan for participants.

Whether for the CEO and leadership team or your entire cohort of leaders, Playbook Coaching handles all the details. Additionally, we have a network of qualified coaches that allow us to scale to the needs of the assignment.

Graph Representation of Leadership

The circle graph is a unique visual representation of a leader’s behavior. It compares evaluators and self–perceptions in a statistical circle graph.

The graph also shows relationships between Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies. The push/pull of these opposing forces is an easy way to understand the effects of behavior and how to correct it.

The Leadership Circle Profile Report

A 20–page report summarizes the data and includes anonymous written feedback from evaluators. The Leadership Circle Profile interpretation manual is included for each report, giving leaders the opportunity to make adjustments on their own using proven methods.
