Strategic Facilitation helps organizations create a clear path forward with their planning. Clients receive unbiased third party guidance to help their thinking, identify issues, create solutions, and keep the group on track by minimizing distractions and off-topic discussions. The result is a high-quality, solution-oriented roadmap and implementation plan. A great facilitator helps the group derive exceptional answers by ensuring a safe, non-judgmental place where every participant’s voice is heard and valued.

Types of Strategic Facilitation We Offer
Retreats
A strategic planning retreat is an annual meeting to reset vision, strategy, and key initiatives for the coming year. It provides an opportunity for the executive team to step away, focus on the business rather than in the business, and aligns the team to a singular approach, with consistent messaging to the organization. Playbook helps participants define or redefine their organization’s mission, vision, and values and connects them with their organizational processes.
Off-sites
Off-sites allow leadership teams to meet away from the office, often for two days or more, to discuss a critical strategic or executional issue that needs immediate attention.
Along with client input, Playbook helps develop a process designed to address a specific need. By using this approach, organizations can be sure that meeting objectives will be achieved, and participants remain engaged. At the end of the session, the team members will have clear action items, accountabilities, timelines, and an agreed upon process to follow through on their plan.
Workshops
Usually a one–day session, our workshops are learning programs designed to create greater insight and unity among teams. Workshops can take the form of a specific leadership development training session (such as the ones we offer around the Leadership Circle Profile), or creative team–building sessions designed to energize the group with new ideas.
Each workshop is customized to meet specific objectives agreed to by Playbook and the meeting sponsor(s).
